I have a Certified Personal Trainer certification through ISSA, receiving my certification in August 2023 and staying up-to-date with continuing education units (CEUs) as best as I can.
Additionally, I have been working out for around 3 1/2 years now, as I started lifting in early-mid 2021 and instantly knew it was something that would become a part of my routine.
Although I think certifications establish credibility, especially at a young age, so much information now can be found online. Sorting through this information is the hard part, yet finding people that have research/lots of anecdotal evidence to support their training ideologies is important. Many of these people I've learned from through social media can be viewed on the "Education" page, although there are many more I did not list/have forgotten over the years.
The truth is, fitness is wide-ranging and there are very few things where there's a "right answer" (although there certainly are topics where this is the case). Given my experience in the gym and my nerdy approach to weightlifting, I can help you sort through the vast amount of information at your disposal and help you to succeed at the strength/weight goal you have in mind through personal coaching.
I love to learn about anything, but especially things that I am passionate about. Fitness falls into the category, as it changed my life for the better and without it I'm sure I'd be in a worse place in life. To keep learning, I plan on enrolling in John Jewett's J3U or Joe Bennett's HTU - both of these people are respected and their courses/personal coaching programs are some of the best for becoming the best coach I can be.
My personal coaching programs/workout programming is as flexible as you need it to be. Whether you're available 7 days a week or just 3 days, have injuries to work around or not, have years of experience or are completely new, I will help to guide you to your goals, if you're willing to put in the work, of course.
My fully-online coaching programs/personalized 1-on-1 coaching can provide you one-time fitness plans to follow asynchronously as long as you want, or continuous coaching support thati is more tailored to your individual needs. Whatever it may be, I can help!
In terms of personal coaching, I can also provide nutrition plans, as the hard work put in the gym will be for naught if your diet is not how it should be. Whether you want help with creative meal ideas, help getting the protein you need, or a more tailored plan with attention to often-overlooked aspects like micronutrients, I can and will help!
